The super-Earth Kepler 62f
04/25/13

The Kepler team recently announced the discovery of Kepler 62f, a super-Earth that is thought to be potentially habitable partly due to its orbit around a Sun-like star. In this artist’s concept the world looks similar to Earth, but it could just as likely look like Venus, the Moon, or some other type of world where we don’t expect to find life as we know it.
