The SOAR (Southern Observatory for Astrophysical Research) Telescope was
used to capture the hydrogen light (red) and optical light (white) shown
in the image above. SOAR, which was a project initiated in 1995 and is
currently in its commissioning phase, is located at Cerro Pachon, in
Chile.
