Probes of the Planets
NASA's Galileo spacecraft traveled approximately 4.6 billion kilometers and collected data from Jupiter and many of the planet's moons over a 14-year mission that ended in 2003. Data from Galileo is still being examined and will be used to design future missions to Jupiter and its moons. Credit: NASA JPL
