Life and Giant Planets
Cassini captured this stunning mosaic on October 5, after coming within 25 kilometers of the surface. Craters and cratered terrains are rare in this view of the southern region of the moon's Saturn-facing hemisphere. Instead, the surface shows evidence of tectonic activity, such as fractures, folds and ridges. Credit: NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute
