Scientists from NASA discovered shrimp under 600 feet of Antarctic ice, where no life was expected to exist. While Pluto probably lacks the necessary nutrients for life to form, an ocean beneath its surface opens up possibilities that other similar-sized Kuiper Belt objects could also hide liquid water - and potentially life.
