Atomic reproduction of Trojan asteroids

In the atomic work, the effect of Jupiter on the Trojan asteroids was reproduced using an occillating electical field. Using the electric field a localized electronic state was created and remained localized as it moves in a near-circular orbit. Credit: Rice University
