The Astrobiology Connection

Welcome to Radio Astrobiology, the podcast of Astrobiology Magazine. Today’s show is the first of a series of monthly podcasts called "The Astrobiology Connection," hosted by Dr. David Grinspoon, astrobiology curator at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and author of the book, "Lonely Planets: The Natural Philosophy of Alien Life." In this series, we'll follow the trail of astrobiology wherever it leads: from science to philosophy, tragedy to comedy, from the subatomic to the cosmological, around the Earth, across the sky, underneath our skin and beyond the infinite.

Join us this month as Dr. G. investigates a giant impact crater at the bottom of the world, and explains what it might mean for the history of life on Earth and the possibility for life elsewhere in the solar system.
