Alien Hunters Parts I-II: Introduction and “What is Life?”

A couple months ago – just prior to the landing of MSL – I did a team talk to NASA’s education and public outreach community, alongside fellow blogger and new “Baruch Blumberg NASA/Library of Congress Chair in Astrobiology“ Dave Grinspoon.

We broke the talk up into parts, and I’ll be posting the individual parts here in separate posts, starting with the first two. First up, the introduction from Dr. G:

Grinspoon kept the mike to prove one of the most profound questions astrobiologists ponder; “What is Life?”
